General Information
Students of Urban Dance Co. will have the opportunity to perform in our December Review, and year-end recital, as well as community performances and competitions. A costume must be purchased in order to participate in these performances. Average costume cost will be $60.00 we try to ensure cost is kept below this amount.Awards will be given to all students of Urban Dance Co upon completion of three years of training. Urban Dance Co. also gives out three scholarships yearly to deserving and talented students:

Workshops, Conventions, and Competitions will be offered throughout the year when available, this will be offered at an additional cost, as it is not included in your tuition.

Absences and Make-ups
•Lesson Makeups are only given to absences missed due to illness, and only if someone calls the office the day of the absence prior to the class. NO EXCEPTIONS.•Make ups can be done in any class offered at the studio that is not your Childs class, but is at your Childs level.
•You will have until the end of the month to make up missed classes, there will be no credit given for unused classes.

Rules of Conduct
•If you are observing classes it is extremely important to always be quiet and courteous.•Student conduct in class requires total attention and respect. Focus by the student on the instructor is highly stressed.
•Never just walk into a class in progress to talk to the instructor or your child. Wait until the class is over if there is a problem that needs to be discussed.
•Appropriate dance attire and shoes must be worn for all classes.
•No food or drink allowed in the studios, water bottles being the exception.
•Students, parents and friends are responsible for picking up after themselves.
•No Gum allowed in studios.
•There is no running/playing allowed in the lobby, stairwell or dressing rooms at any time.
. -Any student arriving 15 minutes or later for a class will not be able to participate in the remainder of the class.

•All students must complete registration and emergency forms and pay class tuition before taking any classes at Urban Dance Co.
•There is a $35.00 annual registration fee (per family), which is due upon registration with tuition.
•All tuition is non-refundable, Exceptions are made with a doctors note stating medical reason necessary for withdrawal, or if a class is cancelled due to low enrollment and a substitution in not available, Other reasons will be accepted with Written notice of withdrawal received in our office 30 days prior, in order to receive prepaid tuition refund. Otherwise there will be a 30-day penalty charge.
•Our year is based on 3 sessions, fall, winter, and spring averaging approximately 4 classes per month. Tuition price is based on a 35-week schedule, not monthly classes.

•Urban Dance Co. cannot be held responsible for injuries sustained in or traveling to and from its facility.•Bare feet are not permitted unless under the supervision of an instructor
•Urban Dance Co. and its faculty reserve the right to remove a student from class for failure to observe its dress code, or rules of conduct with out recourse.

Payment Terms
Tuition should be received in full upon registration (post dated cheques/ credit card / interact / cash) if you are unable to leave payment for full season, monthly payments will be accepted at a $2.00 surcharge fee, per month but must be paid in cash or debit.•Full year payment receives 10% discount
•3 post dated cheques; Fall (Sept-Dec) Winter (Jan-Mar.) Spring (April-June)
•10 post dated cheques (Sept 01- June 01)
•Privates must be paid for in advance.
•There is no reduction in tuition for missed classes.
•There are no credits, or transfers on tuition.
•There will be a $25.00 service fee for all returned cheques.
•All classes are subject to enrollment
•All adult drop in cards must be brought to class for proof of purchase.
•Any monthly payments must be made prior to the 10th of the month. Cash or Interact payment accepted only ($2.00 additional charge for Monthly payments)
•Tuition paid after the 10th of the month is subject to late penalty fee of $15.00

Class Schedule
Download the full class schedule- Grade 2 exam ballet requires minimum 1 year ballet training after the age of 5
- All Jazz Company classes require 1 ballet class per week, minimum 3 years dance experience. ( tuition does not include competition fee’s)
- Lyrical requires 1 hour of Ballet or Jazz per week.
- All Intermediate or Advanced Jazz classes require minimum of 1 ballet class per week.
- Ballet Choreography class requires 1 additional ballet class per week.
- Hip Hop Co. requires one additional hip-hop class per week – min. 3 yrs experience.

- Classes marked as "FULL" are now closed/full, no new registration.
Level Changes
Intro: Absolute Beginner, No experience required
Beginner: 1-3 years experience.Basic knowledge.
Advanced Beginner: 3-5 years experience.
Intermediate: 5-7 years experience- fast paced classes
Advanced Intermediate: 7-10 years experience
Advanced: Quick paced classes, for very experienced students - proffessional levels
